On Saturday, October 18, the Crestwood Fire Department participated in the Project Fire Buddies 16-inch softball tournament at Ozinga Field. They were joined by Chicago, Des Plaines, Oak Lawn, Tinley Park, Harvey, Roberts Park and Park Forest Fire Departments.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Crestwood Fire members who participated as they were the tournament champions!

Project Fire Buddies is a non-profit organization that connects firefighters with children facing life-threatening illnesses. The softball tournament was organized by the Tinley Park and Harvey chapters of Project Fire Buddies, and the Crestwood Fire Department is proud to have participated in such a worthy cause.
